SENIOR LIVING

Senior living industry insights were the focus of expert speakers at 2023 DRI

Senior living industry insights at the The 2023 DRI Senior Living and Long-Term Care Litigation Seminar brought together experts from every aspect of senior living. From attorneys discussing concerns for anchoring damages, to a physician’s perspective on palliative care, to advocates for the assisted living community facing current and pending regulations, we gained a greater understanding and urgency for working together to face coming challenges.

The panel discussion on trends in senior living reminded us of the 2022 General and Professional Liability Benchmark Report released earlier this year. The largest study of its kind, the report looks at nearly 11,000 closed claims analyzing frequency, severity, and loss rate trends impacting long-term care and senior living providers.

The Excelas team will be sharing our takeaways from the seminars we attended in upcoming articles. We’re interested in hearing how you were changed or moved by what you learned. Please email us with your input, thank you.
