On Sunday, June 3, 2012, Excelas took part in the 12th annual Race for the Place—a 5K walk/run benefitting The Gathering Place, a caring community for those touched by cancer. Excelas is proud that in its second year participating in the race, and its first year as a sponsor, the company team doubled in size. With Excelas’ support, and that of other participating teams, the Gathering Place netted $375,000 to support its free programs and services.
