Excelas is celebrating its 14^th year in business this month as a national provider of medical record organization and analysis. This anniversary gives us the opportunity to reflect on some of our greatest achievements over the past 12 months:

• Honored with 5 awards recognizing Excelas as a top workplace: Smart Culture, Best and Brightest, When Work Works, Healthy Worksite (silver level), and NorthCoast 99.
• National speaking engagements on the topics of documentation for risk mitigation in acute care and aging services, healthcare compliance, the anatomy of the long term care medical record, leadership in a multi-generational workforce, and building a culture of inclusiveness, engagement and wellness.
• Launch of our website redesign in February.
• Creation of new products: the Staffing Scorecard which uses data mined from payroll-based journal reporting required by CMS; a turning and repositioning report for use at trial.

At a celebration held at Excelas headquarters last week, we raised our glasses to our dedicated staff, as well as the valued partners and clients who continue to work with us. Here’s to many more years of success!
