News | December 28, 2018 The Healthy Business Council of Ohio Honors Excelas for Healthy Practices Excelas is proud to announce we’ve been awarded the 2018 Healthy Worksite Silver Level Award from the Healthy Business Council of Ohio (HBCO). This achievement demonstrates our commitment to the health and well-being of our employees, including our efforts to provide employees with programs that encourage physical activity, better nutrition, and the prevention or cessation of tobacco use. All worksites, large and small, public and private, for profit and nonprofit, are eligible to apply for the Healthy Worksite Award. Applicants are scored on the extent their wellness programs facilitate and encourage employee health, enhance productivity, and ensure a healthy work environment. Three levels of achievement are awarded — Gold, Silver and Bronze. Other applicants, who meet basic criteria, received a Recognition award.
