The evolution of ZAXAS has paralleled these advancements to meet client requirements.  Following the lead of industry leaders, the Excelas team is developing models to determine how AI can enhance efficiencies and support the work of the Excelas team, including their health information management professionals and RN medical-legal analysts.  As noted by innovative users of AI at premier healthcare organizations such as the Cleveland Clinic, AI “works like a second pair of eyes…the combined team of human plus AI is when you get the best performance.”  “Best performance” is the goal of employing AI in conjunction with the experience and expertise of the Excelas health information and medical analyst teams.
